Solihull council have developed a new pathway, associated paperwork and guidance for annual reviews in Solihull. The Solihull Parent Carer Forum requested ideas for our next survey and the annual review process was the top reply and therefore we would like to gather parental experiences and views on the annual review process in order to feedback to the Local Authority.

The Solihull Parent Carer Forum is a voluntary group of parents of children with additional needs. We work with (but are independent from) Solihull Local Authority to ensure the services they plan and deliver meet the special needs of children and young people, as well as the standards required by law. We do this by ensuring they are informed of parents' and carers' opinions and the issues that they face. We also work closely with Solihull SENDIAS service.

​Solihull Parent Carer Forum was formed in November 2017 and is recognised by the Department for Education as the Parent Carer Forum for the Solihull Borough. We are also a member of the NNPCF (National Network of Parent Carer Forums) and Contact (Formerly Contact a Family) which both feed into national policies and strategies. We are also grant funded via the DFE. Every Local Authority is expected to have one.

This questionnaire is anonymous and taking part is completely voluntary. You can withdraw from the questionnaire at any time. No personal data will be requested as part of this survey.
