Community Access Event Application |
Serving our community is critical to SPARK. We know that removing barriers to providing access to SPARK is vital to that aim. This is why SPARK offers Community Access Events which are defined as a two-hour block of time between 5:00 - 7:00 PM on a Tuesday or Wednesday, or between 8 AM - 5 PM on Monday, for up to 100 people. Community Access Events are typically at no cost to an organization.
Funding for community access events is limited, which is why SPARK is seeking applications from community organizations that provide services and support for families who are historically marginalized. We believe the application process will give us an understanding of the organizations that have needs to be met and if our Community Access Event would align with the organization's mission.
SPARK, The Children's Museum of Rochester, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) community-supported non-profit organization. Our mission is to enrich the lives of young learners by creating shared, interactive experiences that engage people of all ages in the joy of play, the power of learning, and a sense of community. We serve all families, but our target demographic is families with children ages 0 - 10.
Applications must be filled out completely.
