Local Government Update on Broadband Planning

This survey is intended to gauge how local governments in Minnesota feel about their chances of getting adequate broadband to all households and businesses in their community. We are looking for representatives of local governments to answer a few questions about local plans, investment and confidence in broadband access. Results will be shared on the Blandin on Broadband blog and help inform the 2024 MN County Broadband Profiles.

4.Do you have a local community broadband planning team outside of local government (may include members of local government)?
5.Has your local government invested money in broadband? (For example for a MN Broadband Grant.)
6.Does your local government own fiber?
7.Do you have any sort of plan for broadband in your community – formal or informal?
8.How confident are you that your everyone in your community will be able to access adequate broadband in the next 5 years?
