Eligibility:
The nominee must be a current or former Missouri HOSA Local Chapter Advisor.
Any candidate may nominate himself/herself. Any current or former HOSA member, student, parent, or administrator may nominate an individual.

Award Criteria:
Award selection criteria include, but are not limited to the nominee's:
Leadership and communication skills.
Willingness to become involved and share instructional expertise with students as well as colleagues.
Positive impact on students, particularly in the promotion of academic excellence and goodness.
Ability to incorporate new teaching methods, technology, and curriculum in the classroom.
Ability to integrate HOSA into daily curriculum.
Commitment to mentoring students and/or colleagues.
Respect and recognition by peers as someone who goes above and beyond the normal expectations of the position.

Award Selection, Notification & Recognition:
Award recipients will be selected by an Awards Committee (AC).
The judging panel will select one applicant to receive this award.
Nominators will be notified of nominees' award status in early March.
Award recipients will be recognized at the annual Missouri HOSA State Leadership Conference.
