Standards of Practice Revisions Survey- Winter 2021

CLPNM is continuing to revise the Standards of Practice that apply to all practical nurses in the province. Standards of Practice are authoritative statements that promote, guide, direct, and regulate professional nursing practice.

This survey seeks feedback from LPNs on a draft version of the Standards of Practice. Your feedback will help the CLPNM understand whether the standards are clear to those responsible for upholding them. The draft document is tentatively titled Standards of Practice and Conduct (2021).

What happens to my feedback?
Your feedback will be analyzed by CLPNM staff and used to make changes to the draft practice standard. CLPNM’s Board will review the Standards of Practice and Conduct for approval in 2021. This survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. 

Right to refuse or withdraw
Participation in this survey is voluntary. You do not have to take part in this survey if you do not wish to do so, and your decision will not affect any current or future involvement with CLPNM. However, your feedback is important and will help to ensure that practicing LPNs inform the final standards of the profession.
