Thanks for your interest in serving as a RASKC Social Media Volunteer on a regular weekly shift that lasts about 60-90 minutes.  RASKC seeks people who are savvy on social media and who are well versed with Instagram. What is needed: a mobile device, Instagram account that is set up to be public, and a passion to take great pictures that help get the pets adopted into a forever home.

Preference is given to current Dog Walkers, Early Morning Cat Crew, Cat Meet and Greet volunteers, and Shelter Helpers who would likely engage in the social-media work during "down time" on their shift or immediately before or after their shift.

Question Title

* 2. Please identify when you are probably available for contributing at least 12 weekly shifts if you are chosen. If you have any strong preferences, please note them in the comment section.

During the slow season, we'll probably schedule just one volunteer per day. During the busy season, two volunteers per day will do this work.

The early afternoon shifts have a flexible start time between 12pm- 1pm.

The late afternoon shifts have a flexible start time between 3pm-4:30pm.

Question Title

* 3. If you are selected and if there is time available, would you be interested in adding  Dog Enrichment work immediately before or after your Instagram shift if the timing works out?

Dog Enrichment involves spraying designated scents, distributing toys, and making treats. This training video (less than four minutes) vividly describes the work.

Question Title

* 4. What else would you like RASKC to know?
