In 2021, Simba wants to our participants to get out and about again. Last year was tough, and we all had to learn to stay home. So now we have to get back out there, and live our best lives.

We would like to know what you want to do, so that we can plan activities that you will enjoy, and provide opportunities for you to be social and make new friends.

Ladies Group - Each week participants meet at the respite house for a social lunch, and an activity such as; craft, making gifts for loved ones, public and private education, cooking, manicures/pedicures, personal grooming skills, dancing, computer skills, board games, art etc. The activities for this group will depend on the interests of the participants in the group.

Men's Group - Each week participants meet at the respite house for a social lunch, and an activity such as; craft, making gifts for loved ones, public and private education, personal grooming skills, dancing, board games, coding, computer skills, art etc. The activities for this group will depend on the interests of the participants in the group.

Independent living skills - Housework (moping floors, vacuuming, washing dishes, cleaning windows, laundry, cleaning kitchen) home safety, creating personalised daily& weekly routines on posters for reminders, computer skills, banking, grocery shopping, asking for help out in the community, using public transport, video calling, cyber safety, cooking, gardening etc.
