Head Room Survey

1.Welcome

Over the last 10 years, Head Room has become many things to many people: a café, a meeting place, a workspace, a venue for activities and events, a volunteering opportunity, a community hub, and a source of support and connection. We know everyone's experience is different, and we'd love to hear about yours.

As Head Room takes a pause for maintenance works, we're using this time to reflect on what the space means to the people who use it and how it can continue to grow and evolve. We're interested in what brings you to Head Room, what keeps you coming back, what could be better, and how you'd like to be involved in the future. Hearing from a wide range of people, including customers, programme participants, volunteers, staff, partners, carers, and people who haven't been involved with Head Room for a while, will help us understand what's working well and how we can continue to grow and improve.

This should take around 10 minutes (unless you have a lot you want to write). At the end, you will have the option to enter into a prize draw to win a £50 voucher for Head Room.

If you would like any support to complete the survey, or you would like a full list of the questions before proceeding, please speak to a member of the Head Room team or contact headroomcafe@jamiuk.org

Further guidance on the survey:
  • The survey is open until midnight on 1 November 2026.
  • All questions marked with an asterisk (*) are compulsory, those without an asterisk are optional.
  • There are a mixture of multiple choice, tick boxes and open comments boxes.
  • Depending on your connection with Head Room (e.g attend groups or volunteer), you may be shown different questions, so the length of the survey will vary slightly.
