Help Shape the Miami-Dade Zero Waste Master Plan

Miami-Dade County is working to improve and expand its recycling programs and reduce waste. Please answer the following questions as they apply to you. The County will use this feedback to guide the development of its "Zero Waste Master Plan." The plan will identify policies, programs, and infrastructure needed to meet the County’s Climate Action and Zero Waste goals.

Zero Waste follows a hierarchy that focuses first on avoiding the creation of waste before reusing, repairing, recycling, or composting. The goal of Zero Waste is to prevent and minimize the final disposition of waste (either in a landfill or “waste-to-energy”/incineration) as much as possible.
