Join your peers and a team of professional theatre artists from Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival as we playfully explore the language, characters, and plays of William Shakespeare. Together, we’ll explore how they can be reimagined, reconfigured, and reinterpreted in ways that best resonate with you. By the end of the program, you and your peers will collaboratively create an original piece inspired by Shakespeare to share with your friends, family, and participants from other troupes at a virtual Finale in June.
Who can participate? All Columbia College high school and college students are welcome to participate. No experience required - just a sense of curiosity and an open heart!
When will rehearsals be held? Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00-7:30 pm PDT, starting April 22 and wrapping up in early June. (Please note: no rehearsal will be held on April 29). If these times do not work for you because you're in a different time zone, please let us know in the form below. We can't make any promises, but we may be able to shift rehearsal times to accommodate students who are abroad.
Where will rehearsals be held? On Zoom.
To sign up (or ask questions!), please fill in the form below. This form will remain open until April 19 at 9:00 a.m. PDT.
