Wandsworth LMC survey |
Wandsworth LMC’s newly elected committee wants to better understand the views and priorities of GPs in our borough. This anonymous survey will help shape our priorities, advocacy, and support over the next three years. We will publish a short summary of findings.
Wandsworth Local Medical Committee (LMC) is the independent, statutory body that represents NHS GPs and practices in Wandsworth under the umbrella of Londonwide LMCs. Our role is to make sure that changes in the local health system happen with GPs, not to GPs. We do this in three main ways:
- Representation: Being your collective voice in the system - raising concerns, influencing service change, and improving how hospitals and other services work with General Practice.
- Support: supporting local GP practices with advice and supporting and signposting for individual GPs in difficulty.
- Advocacy: Championing the value of General Practice, and challenging unsafe, unfunded, or inappropriate work being transferred to GPs.
