Please note that you will need to request financial assistance before booking a course or retreat. Bursary requests cannot be considered after a booking has been made.

Criteria
Please note the following eligibility criteria:
- Applicants must be residents in Wales and must be 18 or over.
- Bursaries are restricted to one per person per year, and applicants who have not previously received a bursary in the past will be prioritised. We will also prioritise those who have not received any other funding (including grants or fees) from Literature Wales in the past 12 months.
- Bursaries are for applicants on a low income.
- These bursaries are for writers to attend a creative writing course at Tŷ Newydd.
- Those who demonstrate that they align with, or can contribute to, Literature Wales’ projects, tactical priorities and strategic aims will be prioritised.
- Bursaries are restricted to one per person per year, and applicants who have not previously received a bursary in the past will be prioritised. We will also prioritise those who have not received any other funding (including grants or fees) from Literature Wales in the past 12 months.
