SALARY RANGE:
$63.66 - $74.46

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill and Experience)

-Current certificate of competence as an RN in Ontario and registration in the Extended Class with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
-Masters prepared from accredited University preferred.
-Current certification in BCLS
-Knowledge of Nurse Practitioners' prescribing guidelines as set out by the College of Nurses of Ontario.
-Member of RNAO with professional liability insurance.
-Minimum of 5 years' experience in the hospital and community setting with Mental Health and Addictions background.
-Demonstrated clinical knowledge of the relationship between mental health and addictions and physical health.
-Advanced clinical judgment and comprehensive skills in mental health assessment, and treatment, with the ability to effectively adapt to constantly changing and unpredictable situations.
-Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
-Effective interpersonal listening, time management, organizational, teamwork, leadership, problem solving and networking skills.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as computer literacy
-Satisfactory attendance.
