We're so pleased that you'd like to attend our Student-Alumni Leadership Forum (SLF). Led by aYale alums and co-sponsored by STAY (Students and Alumni of Yale), our SLF will take place on campus (at The Graduate Club) on Friday evening, November 6 and Saturday, November 7.
This will be Yale's 11th SLF, reflecting the hunger shown by Yale students and alums for insights on pure leadership. Attendees will be a blend of students and alums. Past speakers have included: Rhodes and Marshall Scholars; an executive of the World Bank; a retired Army General; Yale VPs; Yale Medal winners; movers-and-shakers in financial services; entrepreneurs, not-for-profit and healthcare leaders; trial lawyers….and others.
At our upcoming SLF, you'll hear from alums who have: founded 3 enterprises (including Blue State Coffee), managed a hedge fund, run a Big-4 accounting firm business segment, excelled as national-caliber athletes, and helped lead universities.
Here’s a little more about what you can expect:
➢ Our SLF is entirely alumni-driven, starting an Friday evening (11/6) and ending on Saturday afternoon (11/7)
> You'll interact with alumni session leaders with real-life leadership wisdom from far beyond Yale’s campus
➢ Our Forum will be truly interactive; breakout groups will grapple with tough leadership challenges
➢ Your application will lead directly to thought-provoking leadership challenges for our breakout groups
➢ During the Forum, we’ll give you time and ways to connect with student/alumni leaders/attendees
➢ Over time, we'll host a post-Forum dialogue on your views...and share them with the rest of Yale
What you tell us (below) will help us to create a terrific blend of attendees, breakout groups, etc.
