Need for expansion of Football Sporting Facilities for Griffith Swans

Community Support is Needed

Griffith Swans are currently undertaking needs analysis seeking to gain community support and feedback on our Club's proposed project. Our club proudly calls the Griffith Exies Sports Club in Spiers Street our home. Since moving to the Sporties in 1961, we have seen the dramatic transformation of a single sporting oval to what it is today. It has, without doubt, become the premier sporting facility in the region and continues to see improvements in the on and off field facilities.
We are seeking Community Support in expansion of our existing facilities with consideration being one site - Griffith Show Ground site these expansion plans will include
- Development of the playing surface including redevelopment of the watering system
- Installation of AFL Posts
- Installation of Lighting (AFL and Netball)
- Changeroom/Clubroom Facilities
- Netball Playing Courts with Cola Roof
