Award Description:

The Regional Chapter of the Year Award honors chapters that strive for the highest level of excellence in all areas of chapter life, serving their members and their communities as well as supporting ACF's programs.
Chapter Eligibility
Any ACF chapter in good standing may submit an application for consideration. To be in good standing, a chapter must meet the requirements set forth in the ACF Bylaws, with a current professional culinarian member as president and the following items need to be on file at the national office:
       • Articles of incorporation
       • Tax ID
       • Current chapter bylaws
       • Hold a minimum of 15 professional culinarians

                   deadline - midnight on December 1, 2020

I hereby certify that the information I have submitted is correct. Furthermore, I grant permission to the American Culinary Federation and its subsidiaries to use the information included in my application in print and electronically for promotional purposes, which may include video and/or photography. I understand that I will not be compensated and that I may not be notified of each use. I understand my presence is not required in order to accept the award. Also, I agree that all decisions made by the awards task force are final and not subject to appeal.

Selection and Awarding Process:
Each application will be provided to a task force for review. After the review the files is complete, the corresponding regional applications will be sent to each regional vice president for a final approval & regional chapter award selection will then be made.

Notification of advancement: January 2021
Chapter representatives will receive email correspondence of their application has advanced to the final approval stage. The chapter who is selected as the regional winner will be announced at the corresponding regional conference awards ceremony. 

Selection process for the National Chapter of the Year Award
All approved applicants will vie for the national award.
The chapter's original application will be used as the final selection will be made by the current ACF National President and the award will be announced onsite at the national convention during the awards ceremony.
