Walla Walla High School Start Time Survey
Walla Walla Public Schools is conducting a study of the benefits and implications of changing Walla Walla High School's starting time. The change would take effect at the start of the 2016-2017 school year.
Based on research regarding adolescence sleep patterns, first period would begin at 8:30 a.m. at Wa-Hi. This would push the start of 7th period to 3 p.m. with school ending at 4 p.m. Currently, first period begins at 7:30 a.m. and 7th period is over at 3 p.m.
