Skynet Junior Scholars (SJS) Self-paced Workshop Application |
Thank you for your interest in Skynet Junior Scholars! Skynet Junior Scholars (SJS) is an NSF funded informal science education project that aims to engage youth in observational astronomy projects using telescopes in the Skynet Robotic Telescope Network.
SJS invites 4-H leaders, and informal educators who work with middle school and high school youth during out-of-school time to participate in professional development to gain skills you can use to get your youth involved. Teachers who wish to provide astronomy enrichment activities to their students are also welcome to apply.
This application is for those of you who applying to participate in a self-paced professional development workshop. Expect to spend about 20-25 hours to complete the workshop requirements to gain your credential as an SJS Leader.
