Application Instructions
Welcome to the NYCB Trainer Registry. The purpose of the Trainer Registry is to establish and maintain a network of qualified trainers and instructors who are recognized as providing relevant and high-quality coursework that prepares candidates for certification and/or recertification as competent and ethical professionals.

Members of the Trainer Registry are eligible to submit coursework to NYCB for approval as foundational training leading to initial certification or for continuing education/professional development for professionals looking to renew their recertification.

The online application form may be used for new applicants seeking membership in the Trainer Registry or for existing/returning members looking to renew their membership. To qualify, new members must:

• Demonstrate a minimum of one-year experience (60 hours) as a trainer, educator or instructor (co-training or co-facilitating coursework is acceptable).
• Provide a Training Reference Letter from a supervisor or other training professional on official letterhead that documents their skills and abilities as a professional trainer.
• Attest to adhering to the Registry Member Standards of Practice.
• Provide payment of membership fees: $95/one-year or $175/two-years.

Returning members must:

• Attest to adhering to the Registry Member Standards of Practice.
• Provide a listing of NYCB-approved course titles that they deliver.
• Report the number of NYCB-approved trainings they’ve delivered since the last Registry membership renewal period.
• Provide payment of membership fees: $95/one-year or $175/two-years.

The current expiration date for all returning Registry members is March 31, 2026. To ensure no lapse in membership, Registry members are encouraged to apply for renewal no later than February 28, 2026. Late submissions (after March 13, 2026) may be subject to delays in approvals and postponed course listings in the NYCB online Trainer Directory.
