Social Impact in the Regions 2024 Bursary Program

While social challenges are not unique to the regions, the solutions to these problems must be relevant to place. Social Impact in the Regions (SIITR) explores a range of tools, techniques, beliefs and practices to better enable conference delegates to create more impact in your regional community.

In 2023 the first Social Impact in the Regions conference was delivered in Coffs Harbour, NSW. 165 delegates from across Australia. The delegates represented not for profits, Aboriginal corporations, community groups, government and philanthropy.
SIITR 2024 will be held in Kempsey, NSW. This will be the first entirely place-based iteration of the event which will be held in the local showground and in the community’s CBD.
The SIITR 2024 program will include a range of experiential learning, masterclasses, networking opportunities and wellness activities. Topics will include:
● Social Impact Measurement
● Funding social impact
● Social enterprise development
● Social Impact leadership
● Understanding and working with social impact stakeholders
● Social Impact governance
Delegates will also have the opportunity to see the local Ready Macleay social impact projects live in action and to learn from participants. The projects will cover the themes: housing, youth pathways, CBD activation, creative industries and agricultural communities.
