Speaker call out - submit a session

The Social Impact in the Regions Speaker callout will support the Advisory Team and conference organisers to design your SIITR27 program. SIITR27 will be held between 1-3 September 2027. The venue is yet to be announced. The speaker callout will close on 30 April 2026. Updates will be made to the following brief in February 2027 following consultation with, and announcement of the host community. 2. Do you currently, or have you previously lived in regional Australia for period stretching over 5 years? (our current target is to host at least 80% speakers who have lived experience in the regions). NOTE: Your application is still valid if your answer is no.

The SIITR audience enjoy a range of delivery styles however we encourage speakers to share stories and make sure you have a regional context in your delivery.

9. As speakers make up 1/3 of the SIITR audience we offer speaker tickets on a sliding scale between $1,650 to $250. Each ticket is valued at $1,650. There is no further compensation nor payment for speaking engagements or workshop presentations. Please indicate you agree with these terms.
