Physician and Researcher Sign-on Letter to Amb. Haley |
Show your support for U.S. leadership on the UN HLM on TB
The first United Nations General Assembly High Level Meeting on ending tuberculosis on September 26, 2018 will present an unprecedented opportunity for UN Member States to make concrete commitments in the meeting’s political declaration towards eliminating the world’s biggest infectious disease killer.
In this physician and researcher sign-on letter, we urge United Nations U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley to push for a political declaration that includes robust commitments for finding and treating TB patients, adequately responding to multidrug-resistant TB, and increasing resources for TB responses and research and development of new tools.
