Update on the Consultation

NOTICE OF THE SUBMISSION OF THE SOUTHBOROUGH AND HIGH BROOMS NEIGHBOURHOOD DEVELOPMENT PLAN

REGULATION 16 CONSULTATION STARTS ON 11 JUNE UNTIL 25 July 2025
Southborough Town Council submitted the Southborough and High Brooms Neighbourhood Development Plan to Tunbridge Wells Borough Council on 19 May 2025 in accordance with Regulation 15 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended).


In accordance with Regulation 16 the Borough Council is inviting representations on the Southborough and High Brooms Neighbourhood Development Plan for from 10am on 11 June until midnight on 25 July 2025. All representations received from this consultation will be forwarded to an independent examiner appointed to examine the Neighbourhood Plan.


The submitted neighbourhood plan and supporting documents can be viewed on the Borough Council’s website or on the consultation portal.


A paper copy of the Plan and supporting documents will be available to view at Southborough Library – 137 London Road, Southborough, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN4 0ND, you can view their opening times on their web site here and St. Matthew’s Church Office, High Brooms Road, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN4 9BW from Mon - Fri (Excl. Wed) 9am - 3pm.


Paper copies will also be on deposit at the Town Hall, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent TN1 1RS. Please email neighbourhoodplans@tunbridgewells.gov.uk to arrange an appointment.


The easiest way to submit comments on the Southborough and High Brooms Neighbourhood Development Plan is online via the Consultation Portal.


Alternatively, please complete the response form available on the Borough Council’s website and submit your comments in the following ways:

You can submit as many separate comments on the Plan as you wish, and you can also provide supporting documents to your response.
