BGCI-US, in collaboration with the United States Botanic Garden, is conducting this survey to understand botanic garden engagement in conservation horticulture and identify ways BGCI can further support this critical area of expertise. If your organization has a plant conservation program or grows species of conservation concern to support species survival, we are interested in your input.

Conservation horticulture is a term first published in the 1990s to highlight the specialized knowledge, skills and resources required to maintain and utilize genetically diverse plant collections for species survival. If you work with threatened plants in any way, you might possess a skill-set you and others have yet to recognize. We want to hear about your unique career path.

This 20-question survey should take 10 minutes to complete. Please complete this survey by July 22, 2022. Send questions or comments to Abby Meyer at abby.meyer@bgci.org.
