This questionnaire has been jointly prepared by IMR and First Polymer Training (FPT). The responses received will feed into a sustainability framework report. This will be complete in Q3 of 2022 and available for all participants. The questionnaire deals with current practices and futureproofing the industry by addressing pertinent issues in relation to sustainability, current legislation, and future plans.
 
Following the questionnaire, there will be a series of masterclasses (4) in Q2, with the option to progress someone within the organisation as a sustainability champion. The sustainability champions will be provided with a toolkit and coaching in sustainability and communications to progress their organisations sustainability action plan in Q2.
 
Furthermore, if there are obvious gaps which could be progressed as research and development projects, there is scope beyond this project to look at other grant applications to help deal with issues for Ireland’s polymer industry
