Maui Public Art 2024 Survey

Aloha.

Maui Public Art Corps is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization founded in 2020 to connect people, place and story through the development of exceptional public art projects. Created in response to our successful 2018 SMALL TOWN * BIG ART pilot in partnership with the County of Maui + Hale Hō‘ike‘ike at the Bailey House/ Maui Historical Society, which pairs artists with community members to develop art installations rooted in Mary Kawena Pukui’s ‘Ōlelo No‘eau: Hawaiian Proverbs and Poetical Sayings, our collective work extends these Wailuku-based activities to a countywide movement. 3.To date, our projects have been rooted in the following places. Which project sites are you aware of? Choose all that apply.
