Alexandria Resilience Fund: Service Navigator Grant Application |
With funds from the American Rescue Plan Act, the City of Alexandria Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) and ACT are seeking to support and build the capacity of nonprofit organizations currently helping residents navigate and access public assistance programs and services. Investing in this work is necessary as language, literacy and technology barriers pose a challenge for many community members applying for assistance and understanding and accessing public benefit and health information. Recognizing nonprofits have deep, trusted relationships with community members, we seek to partner with them to sustain and build upon this work.
We will award three $50,000 grants for this service navigator pilot program that will run from April 15 – July 15, 2021.
