Module 1 Introduction to WGS in AMR Module 2 WGS workflow: from isolate to analysis
Module 1 is intended for non and novel users and will introduce why it is important to bring whole genome sequencing (WGS) into antimicrobial resistance (AMR) research, present the terminology and the freely available online tools used to analyze the data.
The training will involve pre-recorded lectures with live introductions to each talk and feature exercises and quizzes, often to be handed in prior to attending subsequent course-days.

The course takes place over two weeks in February 2021 with in total 6 course-days (half-days).
Module 2 is a continuation of Module 1 where participants will learn in detail about each step of the WGS workflow, starting with an isolate and finishing with fully analyzed genomes. It will be "hands-on" training to the extent that is possible virtually.

The course takes place over two weeks in March 2021 with in total 5 course-days (half-days)
