Introduction

Welcome to Social Enterprise Ecosystem Survey 2018!

Thank you for taking the time to participate in our survey! We are currently investigating social enterprise ecosystems in the United States. The goal of this survey is to measure, analyze, and compare social enterprise ecosystems in major municipalities across America.

For the purpose of this survey, we define a social enterprise as “an organization employing commercial strategies to achieve social impact, measuring and reporting outcomes towards this goal.” A social enterprise ecosystem is a network of social enterprises and an aggregate of factors that support social enterprises to survive and grow in a particular region.

Findings of the survey will be released in the Social Enterprise Ecosystem Report (SEER) coming in May 2019. You can find our 2017 report here and 2016 report here. All information you provide in this survey will be kept strictly confidential and used solely for statistical purposes.

As a token of appreciation for your valuable feedback, you will:
  • Receive a copy of SEER 2019, if you fill all required questions in the survey;
  • Be entered to win one of the ten $50 Amazon gift cards, if you fill the survey and forward it to another social entrepreneur;
  • Be entered to win a ticket ($1,500) to join SOCAP19 (Social Capital Markets Conference 2019), if you fill the survey and have at least 5 other social entrepreneurs you refer fill it out as well.
This survey will take 10-15 minutes to complete. Thank you so much for your time and efforts. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact:
