You have probably heard that the new Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) will offer school districts more flexibility than before in deciding how to spend their money. Along with this flexibility comes the obligation to show how our spending improves student performance. We are soliciting suggestions from students, parents, staff, and the community in the development of our Local Control Accountability Plan or LCAP. This plan must spell out the district's goals for improving student outcomes according to eight priorities set by the state and align spending to meet the goals. Your input is greatly appreciated and will be used in the development of our LCAP.
The 8 LCAP Prorities:
1. Basic Services (teachers, materials, facilities)
2. Implementation of State Standards
3. Parental Involvement
4. Student Achievement
5. Student Engagement
6. School Climate
7. Access to Courses
8. Student Outcomes
