Dear Students of Zohar Dance Studio,

Together with Zohar’s Board of Directors and Zohar’s instructors, we are making plans as to what needs to be done so that Zohar can re-open when we are allowed to, we are asking for your assistance to help guide us.

Here are some of the protocols we will be implementing:
  • Dedicated Entrance/Exit. (Enter through the back door. Exit through the front door (parking lot side).)
  • Limit use to only the dance floor and restroom.
  • No use of dressing rooms, risers, filtered water.
  • All registration and payments will be moved online.
  • The dance floor will be clearly marked to assure social distancing. We are anticipating 10'x10' area for each dancer. Dancers must stay within their designated area for the class. All movement will be restricted to each individuals dance space. (No across the floor and movement that travels around the room)
  • Class sizes will be limited. We are waiting for guidelines to determine the number of students.
  • Due to the class size limitation – We are looking at ways that everyone can still participate in the class, including live streaming the class so that students can participate in the class remotely. We are also exploring the possibility of adding additional classes available only on Zoom.
  • Cleaning – In addition to our regular janitorial service every evening: We will be using medical-grade disinfectant to clean the floor and surface areas.
  • For the ballet and modern class – We will need dancers to assist with wiping the barre that they use with Clorox wipes or similar product (provided by Zohar) before and after the barre portion of class. It is strongly recommended that students bring their own face or hand towel to place on the barre to further reduce contact. Gloves are another alternative.
  • Modern dancers that use Zohar’s mats – You will need to bring your personal mat. Mats will not be provided.
  • Students need to have their own hand sanitizer. We cannot guarantee that we will have that in stock.
Taking all the above into consideration, please complete the following survey. Thank you for your support and guidance.
