Scholarship Description

The William “Bill” Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund is dedicated to the memory of William Smith, longtime BAAMI member and friend.  The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarship assistance to qualified applicants for continuing academic pursuit in the field of biomedical engineering.

The beneficiaries of the program shall be people who are studying to start, or further a career in the biomedical profession. Selection process shall be by majority vote of the BAAMI Board of Directors.

* 7. Provide a point of contact (Teacher, Biomedical Professional or a Community Leader) that can write a letter of recommendation for you.  The person should provide the letter ASAP by emailing baamimembers@gmail.com.

Please email a recent picture of the applicant and any supporting document to baamimembers@gmail.com.  Selection process shall be by majority vote of the BAAMI Board of Directors.  Scholarship winner(s) will be awarded during the Florida Biomedical Society Symposium in December 6-9 at the Disney's Yacht Club resort.
