The City of Scranton, PA is preparing their Five Year Consolidated Plan, Annual Action Plan, and its Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice as a requirement to receive Federal funds through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The City needs to develop a Five Year Plan on how to allocate and spend Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), HOME grants and Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG). These Grants are intended to support local activities that benefit low and moderate income individuals and households.
As part of the planning process, the City is conducting a survey to identify residents' needs in the community, and ideas on how the residents would like to see funds used under the CDBG, HOME, and ESG programs. Your participation is needed in order for the City of Scranton to continue receiving Federal grants over the next 5 years.
