Smithville Comprehensive Plan: Transportation Survey POST MEETING

The following suggestions were made at the Transportatoin Community Forum and on the preliminary survey by members of the community. These are offered to help craft the direction the City will follow in its Comprehensive Plan. The number of stars you choose, if you choose any, will indicate your agreement/preference for the idea offered. Please feel free to provide more comments and suggestions to these lists. 3.Ask SISD to collaborate on a “GIS Walking Program” that would help determine best walking routes for students using GIS mapping tools
4.Complete the sidewalk between the Chamber of Commerce and the Railroad Park so that people don’t have to go out into the street – dangerous for wheelchair access

6.Sidewalks at Taylor Street that remove divide between south and north side of tracks
7.Add sidewalk from Lee Street to Ramona / Washington to Main Street at the Gazebo Park
