Systems of Sustainable Consumption and Production: A Future Earth - Belmont Forum global co-design process

For the past four years, Future Earth has provided recommendations to the Belmont Forum for funding themes and priorities for Collaborative Research Actions, which are major funding opportunities for multinational, interdisciplinary teams to address the world’s greatest sustainability challenges. Future Earth’s recommendations have recently resulted in major funding calls related to biodiversity, transformations, climate and health, and ocean sustainability.

We now welcome your input on research priorities and recommendations on Sustainable Consumption and Production.

Please comment on the scoping document available at this link. We are particularly interested in your feedback on the research recommendations identified by our initial scoping process, as well as ideas on how best to design a research funding call on this topic. Please use the survey below to register your answers by August 14th, 2019.

Examples may include supporting workshops and conferences (including virtual), prizes, partnership development, and other more modern and innovative funding models.
