SCCMHCA Presentation Training Proposal Form |
Event Proposal
The South Carolina Clinical Mental Health Counselors Association (SCCMHCA) is currently seeking presenters for next year in 2027 and we believe that your expertise and experience would be a valuable contribution. We are interested in expanding your impact by sharing your knowledge with a broader audience. Presenting with SCCMHCA offers several benefits, including increased visibility for your practice among our more than 300 active members, which include students, interns, and licensed professionals.
This visibility could lead to potential referrals and connections with supervisees. Additionally, it is an excellent way to support the mental health counseling community, share insights with colleagues, and enhance your presentation skills for future opportunities.
SCCMHCA is seeking presentations focused on knowledge, skills, and attitudes relevant to the counseling profession. Our members frequently request topics that enhance clinical practice, fulfill licensure requirements, and provide guidance on building and managing a practice. Presentations on crisis intervention, trauma, resilience, and compassion fatigue are also in high demand. We offer flexibility to present online via Zoom or in person at one of our local university partners.
Presenter Eligibility Requirement:
To ensure alignment with professional standards and continuing education requirements, presenters must hold a current clinical license in a behavioral health discipline, including but not limited to LMHC, LCMHC, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT. Individuals who are not licensed mental health professionals but possess relevant subject matter expertise may still be considered; however, they must partner with and be co-sponsored by a licensed mental health professional who will be actively involved in the development and/or delivery of the training. All presenters are expected to demonstrate content appropriate for a master’s-level clinical audience.
