Thanks to generous donors, SWE is offering registration grants for active professional and collegiate SWE members to attend SWE's Annual Conference WE26 in Boston, MA from November 5-7, 2026. Registration grants are limited and recipients will be awarded based on a thorough evaluation of submitted applications. Applying does not guarantee selection.
Grant funds are available to any SWE member who demonstrates financial need, though preference is given to:
- Collegiates
- Unemployed professionals
- Recently graduated individuals without employment
- Individuals impacted by anti-DEI funding
- Individuals residing in states where SWE does not have an Annual Conference planned. You may reference future conferences through 2029 here.
Eligibility:
- You must be a current FY27 SWE member with a membership valid from July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027 to receive a grant. Please ensure that you have a SWE membership before you submit your application. This tutorial can guide you through the process of renewing your membership or joining for the first time.
- Recipients of a WE25 Registration Grant are not eligible to receive a WE26 Registration Grant.
Award Details:
One fully comped registration for WE26. This award does not cover travel or lodging expenses. Registration must be redeemed by August 31, 2026.

Deadline:
The deadline for all applications is Friday, May 15, 2026 at 11:59 pm ET. Notifications will be sent by Wednesday, June 16, 2026 to all applicants, regardless of grant outcome.
