Communicator of the Year is back, celebrating its 30th year and looking for its next honouree.
Since 1997, IABC/Toronto's Communicator of the Year (COTY) has recognized people whose leadership and influence have transformed organizations, moved communities and shaped the conversations around them.
They led through defining moments. They brought people together. They built trust and their influence reached well beyond their own organizations.
Three decades in, the legacy of COTY is a powerful one. This year, we're looking for the next person whose work belongs in that story.
COTY is open to leaders in any field, from business, health, education, the public sector to nonprofits, politics and community work. What matters is the impact their work has made.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible, a nominee should:
• Be based in or strongly connected to the Greater Toronto Area
• Have work with visible impact in the last one to two years
• Show evidence of that impact on their community, organization or stakeholders
• Lead and communicate in a responsible, ethical way
