ORIENTATION TO IGR WORKSHOP: May 12-13, 2022 (Remote)

Thank you for your interest in the May 2022 IGR faculty/staff workshop!

A few important notes:
  • The workshop will run from 9:00 am-4:00 pm EST each day (with an hour-long lunch break)
  • Due to the cumulative nature of this work, participants are required to commit to the full two days
  • Space is limited (particularly given the remote format); we will be in touch in the weeks ahead to let you know if we're able to accommodate your participation this time around!
1.What is your first name?(Required.)
2.What is your last name?(Required.)
3.What is your Skidmore email?(Required.)
4.What is your program/dept/office and position at Skidmore?(Required.)
5.How do you self-identify in terms of race?(Required.)
6.How do you self-identify in terms of gender?(Required.)
7.Which personal pronouns do you use? (check all that apply)
8.What do you hope to gain from this Intergroup Dialogue workshop? How might you apply it to your professional work at Skidmore?(Required.)
9.IGR’s signature student-facilitated dialogues are uniquely constructed courses taught by faculty and staff who've been trained through our workshops (an orientation such as this, followed by an advanced facilitation workshop). These courses provide an opportunity for faculty and staff to support student facilitators as mentors/coaches while providing oversight for the dialogue community as a whole. Do you have interest in potentially working with the program in this capacity? (Note: these are compensated positions, and we will talk more about options during the workshop.)
10.Have you ever attended an IGR faculty/staff workshop before?(Required.)
11.Is there anything else we should know about you as we prepare for the workshop (e.g., accommodations, personal obligations, etc.)?
