The Moberly School District is requesting that members of the community share their ideas concerning our school calendar. Every year a school calendar is developed based off of requirements set by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. These guidelines allow school districts to develop a calendar that best meets the needs of their students, staff, parents, and community.
We are exploring as many ideas as we can to improve Moberly Public Schools and would like to hear your thoughts and ideas on a four-day week school calendar. Nearly 25% of the schools in Missouri are currently utilizing this approach and are experiencing some positive outcomes. We understand that every community is different and want to ensure we are looking at options that meet the needs of our community.
