The Culture Perth and Kinross Youth Collective is a group for young people aged 16-25 from across Perth and Kinross who are curious, creative and keen to be part of something new. It’s a relaxed, self‑led space where you can meet others, share ideas, try out creative projects and help shape what happens in our libraries, Perth Museum, and Perth Art Gallery.
The Youth Collective will meet in different libraries across Perth & Kinross, so there will be opportunities to get involved wherever you live. We gather once or sometimes twice a month depending on project needs, and we ask everyone to see joining as a commitment for the year, from January through to December. Transport and any other additional costs will be covered.
We’re inviting young people from across Perth & Kinross to come along to a creative workshop, where you can meet others interested in the Youth Collective, learn about what we do and tell us why you’d like to take part. No qualifications are required. We are just looking for young people with a passion for culture and keen to learn new skills. The session will be held at the AK Bell Library, Perth on Saturday 24th January from 11.00am – 1.00pm. Following the session 10 young people will be selected to take part in the 2026 Youth Collective.
