The Wisconsin Coalition Against Sexual Assault proudly presents Johnanna Ganz, Sexual Violence Justice Institute, Minnesota Coalition Against Sexual Assault. Johnanna Ganz (Ph.D.) holds a deep passion for and long history with rural communities. Her experience with victim advocacy and the anti-violence field directly shaped her educational path. In 2015, Johnanna earned her doctorate from Bowling Green State University with expertise in organizational and occupational identity in sexual and domestic violence victim advocacy. After completing her education, Johnanna began work as the Systems Change Program Manager; while there, Johnanna served as the Hennepin County SMARTeam coordinator and led the team through the protocol development process. Using her education and experience, Dr. Ganz creates uniquely rural tools and emphasizes rural strengths while addressing realities and gaps.

Agenda

8:30 AM – 12:00 PM: SART Basics & Sustainability -- Attendees will learn what effective teams have in common, team mechanics and development and planning for transitions.

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Lunch (on your own)

1:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Case Reviews -- Attendees will understand the foundations of case reviews: the process, timelines, team relationships and goals & outcomes.  There will be an interactive walk-through to apply what you learn!
