SARC 50th Anniversary Impact Stories

✍️ Guidance for Writing a Story for SARC’s 50th Anniversary

Thank you for helping us celebrate 50 years of SARC! We are gathering 50 stories that show the impact of our work, the resilience of survivors, and the commitment of our community. Your story will help honor the past, celebrate the present, and inspire the
future.

Please use the following prompts as guidance. You do not need to answer every question - just share what feels most meaningful. Stories can be as short as a paragraph or up to a page.
Example (Volunteer Story)

“I signed up for SARC’s volunteer training in 1998, not knowing how much it would change my life. I still remember my first hospital call - I was nervous, but the advocate team gave me confidence. Over the years, I’ve seen survivors walk in with fear and leave with hope. Being part of that journey has been one of the most meaningful things I’ve ever done.”
