SAC Location Interest Survey This survey is intended for those families interested in St. Mary’s County Recreation and Parks providing before and after school care at their child’s elementary school for the 2023-24 school year. For a program to be held at a St. Mary’s County Public School (SMCPS), there must be sufficient interest expressed by families wishing to utilize the services. St. Mary’s County Recreation and Parks will work with SMCPS and state licensing to establish School Age Care (SAC) programs at locations with sufficient interest. The Recreation & Parks Department is providing an opportunity for citizens to express their interest in a program being offered at a public school location where we currently do not offer a school age care program. If you are interested, your feedback is vital to moving forward with beginning a program. Once there is enough interest (at least 15 families), the school will be contacted for space availability to offer a program. If space exists and is permitted for use, registration will open March 1, 2023 for each school location.
