Thank you for your interest in Resilience's Survivor Advisory Council (SAC).
The Survivor Advisory Council is a standing committee of the Board of Directors of Resilience: Advocates for Ending Violence. Resilience's mission is to respond to, reduce, and prevent domestic and sexual violence in Ottawa and Allegan Counties in West Michigan.
The primary responsibilities of the Survivor Advisory Council are to:
- Provide feedback and ideas to ensure agency programming is survivor-centered, empowerment-based, and trauma-informed and reaches survivors across all demographics in our service area.
- Provide input into the agency’s strategic priorities and plans.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the agency’s public policy agenda.
- Provide input and feedback on agency policies and procedures related to service delivery.
