PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
· Must be a junior or senior in high school.
· Must commit to the entirety of the program (through June 2019).
· Must attend monthly meetings (dates and times TBD).
· Must live in one the following counties: El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, Sutter, Yolo, or Yuba.
· Students should have a strong interest in local government, policy, and decision making.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Students in the SACOG Youth Leadership Academy will receive hands on training that will enable them to provide the SACOG Board Members with feedback around the issues of land use, affordable housing, and transportation. This will be done through monthly in-person trainings, webinars/virtual meetings, and interactive information-sharing through Google Classroom.
In order to participate in this program, you must be a junior or senior in high school. In addition, you must live in one of these counties: El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, Sutter, Yolo, or Yuba.

Unfortunately, Tahoe Basin youth are not eligible for this program.
