Thank you for your interest in the LifeSmarts Advisory Board and for supporting your student's application.

The Advisory Board is a select group of adult and student leaders working together, sharing ideas and brainstorming new ways LifeSmarts can reach out to youth. There are twelve to sixteen Board positions; freshmen through seniors are invited to apply. The Board will meet in-person at nationals. Students must be willing to network with other members to accomplish assigned tasks.

Students who are competing in the National LifeSmarts Championship are eligible if they have the backing and endorsement of an adult coach.

We are looking for 6-8 adult coaches who will support their LifeSmarts Student Advisory Board members and will:
• Assist students in writing LifeSmarts questions
• Work with students to accomplish the Board's Action Plan over the next year
• Serve as an adviser to students and the Board

Student nominations for the Student Advisory Board are now open, but must be accompanied by the coach application. The separate applications for adults and students are linked from the LifeSmarts home page and may be submitted until April 6, 2018.
