Dear Prince George's County Resident:

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCCPC), Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George's County is conducting an interest survey to help develop the operations of the new Southern Area Aquatics and Recreation Complex (SAARC) in Brandywine, Maryland. SAARC will be M-NCPPC's first multi-generational recreation center to be developed in accordance with new design and operational guidelines adopted in our master plan, FORMULA 2040. It will have the following features: membership-based business model; regional programmatic focus to reach a wide range of community members; and a facility designed to accommodate rental needs for a wide variety of recreational programs and community services.
