Thank you for your support of the Positive Education Schools Association, Australia's Positive Education peak body.

PESA's mission is to lead, promote, and foster the implementation and development of Positive Education, to support all students, schools and the wider community to flourish.

Our 2020 SA Chapter State Conference will run on 29 February.

Our theme is "Positive Education: Me, We, Us - Inspiring Individual, School and Community Wellbeing".
We are now seeking submissions for workshop and "Inspire" session presentations at this Conference.

We would love to hear from you if you are keen to share your expertise, insights and experience on Positive Education, and student, staff and wider-community wellbeing.

Workshops will run as 45-minute ‘deep-dives’ with one or two presenters. We encourage interactive formats, focusing on practical interventions and applied aspects of Positive Psychology which may impact on student, staff or wider community wellbeing.

Suggested topics include the following – but this is by no means an exhaustive list and we’d be delighted to hear your ideas!

> Positive Education on a shoestring
> Positive Education meets pastoral care
> Fostering an environment of belonging
> Positive Education and the use of technology

Inspire Sessions
These will be rapid-fire 5-minute presentations, focusing on one or two ideas or initiatives that have been successful in your context. We will run a number of these sessions consecutively in a single timeslot.

We are happy to accept student presenters in our Inspire sessions - or maybe you'd like to co-present with one of your students? Inspire sessions might also be video captures of something inspiring happening in your context, or virtual participation for regional/remote participants.  We would love to be inspired by your creative participation.

To submit your abstract, please complete the form below.

Applications have been extended to 16 January 2020.

You are very welcome to submit for both styles of presentation if you wish.

PESA non-members are welcome to apply also, so please feel free to share this submission form with your colleagues.

We look forward to working with you to create flourishing schools and communities across South Australia.
