Registration: Regional Winter CBT Training Sessions & CBT Statewide Webinar
The New York State Regional Winter Computer-Based Testing (CBT) Training Sessions are intended for school/district-level administrators and will focus on administrative and software preparation for computer-based testing. The training will provide information on the Nextera Admin and Nextera Test Delivery / Questar Secure Browser platforms as well as provide a high-level review of the computer-based scoring platform, ScorePoint. Attendees will learn how to organize classes, add/edit students, set testing accommodations, and more in the Nextera Admin system. Attendees will also learn how to troubleshoot common issues during their CBT administration and hear about best practices and CBT tech tips.
The best experience for this training is for attendees to attend at one of the eight on-site sessions offered throughout NYS from February 5 to February 15, 2019.
Please Note: All districts within the NERIC region will need to register on the NERIC registration page.
Users who cannot attend in person at one of the eight on-site sessions should register for the Statewide Webinar on Thursday, February 28, 2019. We will provide the same content as offered at the Regional Winter CBT Training Sessions and offer the opportunity for attendees to chat questions at NYSED during the presentation. We will also have a Q&A session at the end of the webinar.
After registering, users will be sent a confirmation email that confirms their CBT Winter Training Session location or includes the Statewide Webinar URL.
